Karazhan Cleared!
July 31, 2008I’m beginning to dislike World of Warcraft at the present moment. As a level 70, the thing I’m working towards at the moment is getting my epic flying mount, and I keep veering between 500g and 1000g off the full 5200g I need. I just can’t be arsed to go and grind Shadow Council Warlocks for hours on end, but I know I’ll have to at some point.
At least it’s not all bad. I ran Karazhan for the first time the other day, and it couldn’t have been a better run for me. I actually managed to stay alive for most of the boss fights… the ones I didn’t, I know what to do next time – If you’re Red Riding Hood, run like hell! If Prince hits you with Enfeeble and you’re less than 30 yards away from him, run like hell! And so forth. But (technically) I’ve downed every boss in Kara on my first run with no wipes, and I’m very proud of that.

And then we get to the loot:
Handwraps of Flowing Thought (Moroes, +35 dmg/heal, 2 sockets)
Trial-Fire Trousers (Opera Event, +49 dmg/heal, 3 sockets)
Boots of the Infernal Coven (Shade of Aran, +34 dmg/heal)
Mantle of the Mind Flayer (Shade of Aran, +35 dmg/heal)
Soul-Collar of the Incarnate (Prince Malchezaar, T4 Head, +39 dmg/heal, 1 socket, 1 meta)
Ritssun’s Lost Pendant (Rare Trash Drop, +51 dmg)
Carved Witch Doctor’s Stick (Badge Loot, 175 dps, +18 dmg/heal, 1 socket)
Impressive, no? It’ll be more impressive when I get it filled up with rare +dmg gems and all the proper enchants, but I’m hovering on about +750 shadow damage at the moment.
Oh, and if people know where the following in-game shot was taken, you win one internets.
